Why do I sense that this was a documentary that simply happened before it was reality?

Look, I'm not gonna give you any B.S here, just 100% pure unadulterated truth in regard to this comedic masterpiece. I could give you a break down of how clever the humor is, or how beautiful the cinematic shots are and blah, blah, blah but I'm not. What I will say is that this films direct, low-brow and sometimes crude humor appeals to the inner "idiot" within myself. This is the type of film you can watch with a group of friends, who'll appreciate not having to put much mental effort into gaining satisfaction from this movie. For this fact and more Idiocracy rates fairly high on my scale of "cheese-factor" revealing a nostalgia inducing vibe that will last you through your lifetime.
