This is only the beginning…

Hi,
So if you are here you may want to take a look around… see what is going on. As introduction yes, I am passionate about many things, online and off. As the home screen suggests, I am an active Real Estate Broker mostly in the area in and around Phoenix Arizona. I intend on devoting some of this site with links to my Company, Personal/Professional site(s) and to many places with good sound advice for those that buy, sell and invest in property.

So having been in the world of Computers since the days of punch cards, and before the internet was no more than a loose connection between remote computers using ftp to move files around. I learned how to code, and how to put together hardware. I was a dealer for some of the earliest 8 bit computers on the market. As time went on networking, server and workstations integration, along with custom development became central to the business. Today I still find myself helping with Website hosting and development, some hardware support. Currently, I am supporting the server that is hosting this website, and integration of WordPress sites.

One customer made another impact on my world. They introduced me to the world of Antique Clocks. Unlike vintage computers, antique clocks have been an avocation that let me put my love of electronics into the passion for collecting beautiful automated devices. It also has close to two hundred years of history. The confluence of the best mechanical engineering of the day met with the desire to use the motive power of electricity and marry it together. Much of what was done may have faded into history, however many survive and work quite well. We will explore that too.

The keeping of tropical fish is a hobby we will share, and maybe my joy of cooking, music, cast iron, or even some things medieval. I will try to organize the site to cover these things.
