Ok then…
It seems like there should have been a bio somewhere… So to start my birth was early in the morning of April 25, in the year of our lord 1955. Sadly I don’t remember much about it. They tell me you remember traumatic experiences, but alas nothing on that.
My folks moved around a lot when I was young, but for a lot of reasons my folks decided that they were going to head west. That was in 1968, they loaded up two kids, a bucket of fish & two cars pulling U-Haul trailers came west. I remember the arch in St. Louis, the tumble weeds of New Mexico, and that moment when my younger brother decided to investigate the fruit of a cholla cactus. The term jumping cholla was new to me but rather poignant. It lodged in my thigh!
Anyway I graduated High School in Scottsdale, went on to ASU. If you read the first blog on this site it tells about my first real estate licence when I turned 18. And in ’79 I got my dream job as a systems programmer in Redmond Washington. After a relatively short time in Washington State and California… My family moved back to AZ. By the mid 1980’s I was an Independent Computer Consultant and working on my own without a net.
The family grew and my children now have children… The business grew, it also had setbacks and I closed the doors on the Corporation after the 2008 crash… In the mean time real estate and Jo’s property management business brought it back full circle.
Over the years, hobbies like cooking, camping, keeping tropical fish, restoring cast iron have all been part of what happens around here. We have traveled, and we are hosting a young man from Denmark this year as an exchange student.
That’s it for now…
